TABGLIDE®Purified Talc is a pharmaceutical-grade mineral excipient composed primarily of hydrated magnesium silicate [Mg₃Si₄O₁₀(OH)₂]. It is a fine, white, soft, and chemically inert powder widely used in pharmaceutical formulations due to its excellent lubricating, glidant, anti-adherent, and processing aid properties.

Due to its inert nature and moisture-absorbing properties, it is widely utilized in tablets, capsules, coatings, topical preparations, and other pharmaceutical applications.

Overview

TABGLIDE®PURIFIED TALC is a high-purity, finely milled hydrated magnesium silicate used as an inert filler, glidant, lubricant or anti-caking agent in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and personal-care formulations. Its fine particle size (up to 500 mesh), high whiteness (≥ 95%), and inert properties make it suitable for tablets, powders, capsules, creams and dusting products. TABGLIDE® improves powder flow and compressibility and helps achieve smooth tablet molding or uniform cosmetic/powder dispersion.
