NEUTRA®Aluminium Hydroxide [Al(OH)₃] is a pharmaceutical-grade inorganic compound widely used as an antacid active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) in gastrointestinal formulations. It is a white, amorphous, odourless powder with alkaline properties and functions by chemically neutralizing hydrochloric acid (HCl) in the stomach, thereby increasing gastric pH and reducing acid-related irritation.

NEUTRA®Aluminium Hydroxide exhibits a slow and sustained acid-neutralizing action due to its low water solubility and gradual reaction with gastric acid. It is commonly used either alone or in combination with magnesium-based antacids to achieve a balanced acidneutralizing profile and improve formulation performance.
