COLNAT®Ferric Oxide (Iron Oxide, Fe₂O₃) is a pharmaceutical-grade inorganic iron compound widely used as a coloring agent and functional excipient in pharmaceutical formulations. It is available in different grades and shades, primarily red, yellow, and black iron oxides, providing formulation flexibility for achieving desired product appearance and identification. Ferric Oxide is chemically stable, insoluble in water, and exhibits excellent light, heat, and chemical stability.

Overview

- COLNAT®Ferric Oxide is a well-established pharmaceutical coloring excipient used to enhance product appearance, differentiation, and patient compliance.
